Dr. Tedd is a Common Law qualified lawyer (Kenya) with over 15 years’ experience and consultant in energy, technology, environment and natural resources, climate change, sustainable development, governance, and finance. He is a board member and strategist in philanthropies and ventures in EMEA and the UK. His involvement with tech start-ups has spanned sectors such as Fintech; Regtech; Energy; Transport; Education; Sustainable food and agribusiness.
He is currently an Oxford Martin Fellow at the Oxford University Martin Programme on Integrating Renewable Energy, which is concerned with mitigating climate change through the transition to low carbon energy systems. He has academic affiliations with the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary University of London and has also taught and held various multi-disciplinary positions at the Universities of St. Andrews, Cape Town, Michigan, Dundee, and the London School of Economics.
